Times have changed a lot in thirty years. Thats about the time of a generation. And a generation surely has come and gone. Kids whom we were, went to school, had a grand ol’ time, went to university, became a bit educated and matured, travelled the world, had a seasoned run at being reckless, spent a lot of our parents money, got a job, matured a bit more, got married, and maybe, just maybe, had a kid or two by now.
In all this time, Pakistan has changed treble fold. Things aren’t the same any more today than they were thirty years ago, be it culturally, politically, socially, theocratically, financially, geographically, etc. ad-nauseaum. Things have changed even more so since our parents were our age.
This is just two Abbas’ trying to remember all the things that we enjoyed, and trying to keep a record of it.
